Abstract

- The value of exports through loading ports in the North Sumatra region in January 2021 increased compared to December 2020, namely from US $ 748.58 million to US $ 799.21 million or an increase of 6.76 percent. When compared to January 2020, North Sumatra's exports increased by 35.45 percent
- The category of goods that experienced the largest increase in North Sumatra's export value in January 2021 against December 2020 was the animal / vegetable fat and oil group of US $ 67.30 million (23.72%).
- Exports to the United States in January 2021 were the largest, namely US $ 81.84 million, followed by China at US $ 69.76 million and India at US $ 63.19 million with the contribution of the three reaching 26.88 percent.
- According to the group of main export destination countries in January 2021, exports to the Asian region (outside ASEAN) were the largest with a value of US $ 223.43 (27.96%)
