Abstract

The rice harvest area in 2023 will reach around 406.11 thousand hectares, a decrease of 5.35 thousand hectares or 1.30 percent compared to the rice harvest area in 2022 which was 411.46 thousand hectares.
Rice production in 2023 is 2.087 million tons of GKG, a decrease of 1.11 thousand tons or 0.05 percent compared to rice production in 2022 which was 2.088 million tons of GKG.
Rice production in 2023 for food consumption for the population will reach 1.197 million tons, a decrease of 0.64 thousand tons or 0.05 percent compared to rice production in 2022 which was 1.198 million tons.
